Safety Signs & Books

Safety Signs are generally split into four categories. Prohibition signs (primary colour - red) instruct people on what they must not do. Mandatory signs (blue) display a positive instruction that must be carried out. Warning signs (yellow/black) warn of hazards and potential danger. Safe condition signs (green) direct people to safety equipment or an escape route. Additionally, a primarily red sign would be used for fire fighting equipment. Every workplace should display prominently an up to date Health and Safety poster. Other relevant information posters may also be displayed. Workplaces and public meeting areas should have an accident and fire safety log book.
